The second story dates back to the Qing Dynasty when Emperor Qianlong visited the region and, while enjoying the tea, became so captivated by the movements of women picking the leaves that he joined them. Later, when he rushed to his mother’s side during her illness, the tea leaves he had tucked in his sleeves brought her relief and joy.
