To Enjoy

Place one teaspoon per cup into an infuser, filter or teapot. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4 minutes. Serve immediately or remove leaves to prevent spoiling. May be enjoyed with milk or lemon to taste.

Yunnan Imperial Tea is a high-quality black tea that originates from the Yunnan province in southwestern China. Yunnan is renowned for producing a variety of teas, and its black teas are particularly celebrated for their unique flavour profile. Our Yunnan is called in Imperial is used to signify a superior or premium grade of tea within our range.

Yunnan province, situated in the southwestern part of China, is known for its rich tea-growing heritage. The region's unique climate, altitude, and soil contribute to the distinct characteristics of Yunnan black teas.

Yunnan Imperial is a black tea, also known as Dian Hong. The tea leaves are fully oxidized during processing, resulting in a dark colour and robust flavour.

Yunnan black teas often feature golden tips or buds, which are a key characteristic contributing to the tea's appearance and flavour. The presence of golden tips is often associated with a higher quality and a smoother taste.
