About Jasmine Chun Hao

Jasmine Chun Hao is a high-quality jasmine-scented green tea, and it is known for its delicate and fragrant character.

The base tea used in Jasmine Chun Hao is Chun Hao, which is a type of green tea. Chun Hao, also known as "Precious Eyebrows," typically consists of young and tender tea leaves.

The tea leaves are scented with jasmine flowers during the processing. This involves layering the tea leaves with fresh jasmine blossoms, allowing them to absorb the floral fragrance. This traditional scenting process imparts the tea with the exquisite aroma of jasmine.

Jasmine Chun Hao is celebrated for its light and floral flavor profile. The green tea base provides a subtle grassy and slightly sweet taste, complemented by the aromatic infusion of jasmine. The result is a well-balanced and refreshing cup of tea.

The aroma of Jasmine Chun Hao is dominated by the enchanting fragrance of jasmine flowers. The scent is floral, sweet, and captivating, creating a sensory experience that is both aromatic and pleasing.

Green tea naturally contains moderate levels of caffeine. The addition of jasmine flowers does not significantly alter the overall caffeine content.

Jasmine Chun Hao can be enjoyed on its own or paired with light snacks. It is commonly served without milk or sweeteners to fully appreciate the natural flavours of the green tea and jasmine.

To maximize the flavors and aromas, Jasmine Chun Hao is often brewed using lower water temperatures compared to black teas. Shorter steeping times are recommended to avoid bitterness and ensure a smooth infusion.

Jasmine-scented teas, including Chun Hao, have a long history in Chinese tea culture. The delicate and aromatic nature of these teas has made them popular choices for special occasions and as symbols of hospitality.
